Felicity Topp is the new Chief Executive Officer of Peninsula Health, replacing Sue Williams who left the organisation late last year.

Ms Topp joins Peninsula Health from the Peter MacCullum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, where she was Deputy Chief Executive and prior to that, the Chief Operating Officer.

“Peninsula Health has been transformed over the last decade and is now one of Victoria’s premier metropolitan public health networks,” said Ms Topp.

“I am delighted to take on this vital strategic leadership role at such an exciting time of growth.”

Ms Topp joins Peninsula Health at a pivotal time for the organisation, which released plans for its $300 million redevelopment of Frankston Hospital late last year.

“Our plans for a bigger and better Frankston Hospital are at the core of our ambitions for the next five years,” added Ms Topp.

“The redevelopment will add 96 more beds, two new operating theatres, expanded paediatric and maternity services, and an integrated cancer centre,” said Ms Topp. “It will also further cement our teaching and research partnership with Monash University.”

The feasibility study for the redevelopment of Frankston Hospital will be released in the coming weeks.

“We are also finalising our service plan for Rosebud Hospital, and considering options for a significant expansion of our rehabilitation services at The Mornington Centre,” added Ms Topp.

“I am looking forward to meeting all our talented doctors, nurses and allied health professionals, as well as those from our volunteer and donor community who play such a vital role in Peninsula Health.”
